Kids’ top concerns are pollution (11%), ending war (10%) and better protecting animals (9%), according to Highlights for Children’s annual survey of 3-12-year-olds. Their answers vary based on location. Those living in the Northeast and West, for example, are predominantly concerned about pollution. Children in the Southeast and South Central regions express more concern over money.
