Price Is Key Factor In Choosing Where To Shop, Across Incomes

05-04-12 More than eight in 10 consumers expect price to be extremely important or important when deciding where to shop in the next three months, with only minor variation by income, according to NPD Group.

Getting good value in general is the most important factor in consumers’ choice of store; after prices, they’re most concerned with sales and special deals.

Customer service is considered least important.
