Six in 10 Facebook users (61%) say they have voluntarily taken a break from the social network that lasted a period of weeks, according to the Pew Research Center. The largest group (21%) said their “Facebook vacation” came from being too busy with other demands.
However, women aren’t as likely as men to break away from Facebook. In fact, women are more likely to say they spend more time on Facebook now than they did a year ago (16% versus 9%).
