Women Check With Mom Before Making Major Decisions

One in three women (35%) describe themselves as being good at making decisions, according to Women’s Health magazine. Two in three (67%) believe they make better decisions under pressure. Also:

  • Three in four “sleep on it” when they have a tough decision to make.
  • 75% prefer to make “safe” decisions rather than take chances.
  • Mom is the top person women consult before making any hard decisions.
  • 65% feel physically ill when they think they’ve made a bad choice.
  • Women are more likely to say they occasionally (71%) change their mind than say they change it constantly (27%) or never (2%).
  • 78% decide against going to the gym once their alarm goes off in the morning, even though they planned to the night before.
  • Women are more likely to say they follow their head over their heart (52% vs. 48%).
  • 52% try on more than one outfit each morning.
  • 66% make impulsive purchases.
  • 9% have broken an engagement.
