Americans are most satisfied with their mental and spiritual health and least satisfied with their physical health, according to Prosper Insights & Analytics. Overall, 60% of Americans are satisfied with their health. Gen Xers are less satisfied than the average adult with most aspects of their health, including mental health (index of 88.5 compared to the average of 100), emotional health (89.0), social health (90.3), spiritual health (93.2), and physical health (98.8).
Members of the silent generation are happier than members of younger generations. Millennials are least likely to be happy, scoring 93.9 on an index in which 100 is average. Members of the silent generation score 114.2 on this index.
