Men say the ultimate male status symbol is a family (44%), a high-profile career (32%), beautiful wife (13%), beautiful house (6%), or beautiful car (4%), according to AskMen.
Almost two in three men (62%) say their significant other influences their decision to buy grooming products, and 40% dress to impress women, according to AskMen.
Men are equally split when it comes to which gender has it worse when balancing family and career. Some 28% say both men and women share the work equally, while an additional 28% feel men have it worse because they are still expected to earn more in addition to spending time with the family. Some 27% of men think women have to sacrifice their careers more than men.
The female archetype men most want to date is the bombshell. Fewer than two in 10 men are interested in dating the comedienne, indie film star, or award-winner.
Actress Jennifer Lawrence (32%) is the celebrity men most want their girlfriend to be more like, followed by Emma Stone (31%), Kate Upton (23%), Tina Fey (10%), and Kerry Washington (4%).
