Moms are 13% more likely than the average U.S. adult to own a tablet, and they comprise 27% of tablet owners, according to Jumptap. Stay-at-home moms are 20% more likely than working moms to own tablets.
Although the iPad is the most popular tablet among moms, they’re 8% less likely than the average mobile device user to own one. They’re 49% more likely than the average mobile user to own a Galaxy Tab, 116% more likely to own a Nexus 7, and 4,000% more likely to own a Zeepad 7 (a sub-$100 tablet that’s not widely owned among other demographics). The iPod Touch device is also popular among moms; they’re 114% more likely than the average consumer to own one.
While most mobile users spend a consistent amount of time on their smartphones or tablets throughout the week, moms’ usage is concentrated on weekends and drops significantly on Thursdays and Fridays.
