Almost one in two 18-to-24-year-olds (46%) and 52% of 25-to-34-year-olds say they love new auto technology but say these enhancements seem too expensive, according to GfK MRI.
Six in 10 of those ages 18-24 (61%) and 70% of 25-to-34-year-olds are “especially interested” in auto technology. They express the most interest in visual warning of nearby emergency vehicle activity, seats that automatically set to a driver’s preferred position, and spill-proof car devices.
Nearly half of those ages 18-24 (44%) and one in three of those ages 25-34 (38%) say small cars or midsize sedans are their first choice for an intended vehicle purchase.
