Participant Media, Ecoliteracy Develop School Guide For Food Doc

Entertainment company Participant Media, under its online social action network TakePart, teams with the non-profit Center for Ecoliteracy to develop an educational guide to distribute alongside the DVD of the documentary Food, Inc. to 3,000 U.S. schools.

The film and guide address how food is made, including its impact on animal welfare, workers’ rights, health, and sustainability. The FoodIncMovie.com website offers a free downloadable version of the guide in both English and Spanish and allows visitors to register their schools to host a screening of the film.
