What’s In A Name? Strength For Boys, Compassion For Girls

Most parents (62%) believe that a child’s name contributes to his or her success in life, according to BabyCenter. More than a third (36%) look to famous people and characters in pop culture for inspiration for baby names. Moms say strength (cited by 68%) is the top quality they look for in boys’ names, and kindness and compassion (each cited by 64% of moms) are the top qualities they look for in girls’ names.
