Kohl’s ranks as the preferred retailer for women when it comes to purchasing clothes (13%), followed by Walmart (12%), Macy’s (10%), JCPenney (9%), and Target (3%), according to BIGInsight. Price is the key driver for women, as well as the top detractor. Women will also stop shopping at a particular retailer because of an inconvenient location (10%), poor selection (6%), lack of deals (5%), and unavailability of desired sizes (5%).
