4/15/2013

Nearly nine in 10 parents with children ages 6-17 (86%) customize some aspect of their lives, according to online education provider K12 Inc. Shopping, such as online versus in-store, is the most popular customization category (61%), followed by banking (58%), TV viewing (58%), and coffee (39%). Fewer than three in 10 (29%) customize their child’s schooling, which is defined as choosing schools other than the one the child is assigned or modifying the child’s daily schedule.
