Ed Hardy Shifts Classic Look To Teens

Even though Ed Hardy is shifting away from its signature look of rhinestones and tattoo logos for adults, it’s not entirely disavowing its ostentatious designs. Tweens still embrace the classic Ed Hardy look. “Kids just love our bright colors and rhinestones,” says Ed Hardy’s Rena Marnani. The designer’s new products aimed at the teen and tween market include glow-in-the-dark shoes, larger rhinestones, and embroidered images.

Ed Hardy’s adult collection features a more toned down aesthetic, consisting of dark and solid colors, minimized or no logos, and traditional materials, such as leather and canvas. [Accessories/Footwear]
