Women Are More Stressed Over Skin Flaws Than Hair Woes

11/1/13

Women are more likely to cite skin issues as their biggest beauty challenge (32%) rather than controlling their hair (27%), sticking to a beauty routine (24%), or counteracting a crazy night out (16%), according to Cosmopolitan magazine.

Half of women (50%) stress about acne, 42% stress about cellulite, 35% stress about frizzy hair, and 33% stress about dark circles under their eyes.

The largest number of women describe themselves as trendsetters (34%), with 24% saying they have a classic look that will never change, 19% think they are the prettiest among their friends, 15% are secretly jealous of their friends’ looks, and 8% follow what “cool girls” are into.

One in four women (25%) say their dream beauty product is a concealer that hides all flaws. One in two tan while on vacation.
