The social activities of Americans aged 45 and older vary widely by race/ethnicity, according to the AARP. For example, participating in religious or spiritual activities is most popular among both Blacks and Hispanics, but ranks third among Whites. In addition, the proportion participating varies, with most Blacks active in their religious or spiritual communities (53%), compared to 31% of Whites and 30% of Hispanics. [Mature Market]
