Entertainment = Expensive, Say Consumers

Three quarters of moviegoers (75%) think movie tickets are too expensive. In addition, 37% bring snacks from home to avoid the high price of concessions at the theater.

Two thirds of concertgoers (67%) think concert tickets are too pricey as well. That may explain why so few Americans attend concerts: 39% never go, 34% go to one show a year, 17% attend several concerts, and only 8% go once a month or more. [Entertainment, Consumer Spending & Attitudes]
