Moms Prefer Healthier Sports Snacks

Almost three in four mothers of children who participate in team sports (73%) say the snacks handed out during their children’s sports activities are not very healthy, according to YoCrunch. Most moms (84%) prefer that parents helping out at events provide yogurt, sliced fruit, or carrot sticks rather than cookies, juice box drinks, and candy bars.

The majority of these moms (59%) are also dissatisfied with after-game snacks available at concession stands. Two thirds (67%) say it’s important that parents provide after-game snacks.
