Nearly nine in 10 Facebook users (87%) “like” at least one brand on the site, according to Lab42. Of these, 69% have “liked” a brand solely because a friend of theirs did. More than eight in 10 (82%) think Facebook is a good place to interact with brands, and 75% feel more connected to brands when they’re on Facebook.
Half (50%) think brands’ Facebook pages are more useful than their websites. More than three quarters of those who “like” brands on Facebook (77%) say they’ve saved money as a result.
