Teens attending charter schools are twice as likely as high school students attending public schools to say bullying “isn’t a problem” (25% vs. 11%), according to not-for-profit Do Something.
However, students at charter schools are less likely to report bullying to school authorities when it occurs. When bullying does occur at charter schools, teens are more likely to intervene on their own than are students attending public schools.
